Berlin History Archive: the 2017 Craft Beer Cruise has ended. Dates, prices, tickets and recommendations below are historical and the article is preserved as a record of Berlin in 2017.
Berlin Beer Week 2017 starts with a craft beer cruise that’s The Love Boat for beer aficionados.
This July 21st at 18:00, Berlin Beer Week 2017 officially begins. Take a moment to steady your excitement. Because you know that means their now-infamous craft beer cruise is back.
For the 69€ ticket, you get a four hour cruise along the Spree plus an ‘open glass’ policy. That means it’s “all-you’d-like-to-drink”, which is total nonsense as it infers you have a choice about how much you drink. Drink it all. They’re all delicious and you only have four hours.
This year they’ve gone truly overboard with their line up of beers:
In total their bar will boast 40+ beers from 40+ breweries. There will be DJs, dancing, sunshine (hopefully) and the potential to impress countless people with your knowledge of craft beer. You might even learn something, even though you know it all already.
Boarding begins at 17:30, with embarkment at 18:00. Bottled water will be included in the ticket price. Snacks, full meals, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for individual purchase from the onboard menu of Stern & Kreisschiffahrt.
After disembarkment at 22:00, an after-party will be hosted at BrewDog Berlin Mitte, where you will be welcomed with a complimentary fresh beer from tap.
