Hatian Heroes Vernissage Tonight (plus more events on the way!)
By Catherine J. Fehre . September 20, 2013
Hatian Heroes, a project which started in New York (pictured below), is coming to Berlin for two weeks, exhibiting an art show with photographs of Haiti. This exhibition is unique because it combines both words and images to characterize the people of Haiti and their pride as a way to raise awareness and generate donations for building and education in the country.
Tonight, September 20, is the opening of the exhibition, complete with live music and free drinks. Some of the supporters of the project who will be there include Nova Meierhenrich, Kerstin Linnartz, Sarah Tkotsch, Lukas Koch, Harald Pignatelli, and the singers Sharon Brauner und Meral Al-Mer. The after party will be at Prince Charles Club.
