Bite Club is throwing an X-mas streetfood party this Friday 15th. Warning: the food might overshadow your real Christmas dinner.
Bite Club‘s been on the Berlin streetfood scene so long now, it’s become an institution. All important events in the yearly calendar are celebrated with a big Bite Club blowout, and Christmas is no different.
This Friday 15th December, Bite Club will be moving away from their outdoor venue and somewhere a little warmer (thank god) for their yearly Christmas party. To a 2500sqm former fashion boutique, Departmentstore, at Quartier 206 on Friedrichstrasse, to be exact.
Whilst this swanky-sounding location might instill a panic in you, causing you to instantly kill five snow foxes to make a chic Russian coat out of, don’t. Bite Club hasn’t gone all posh on you. It’s still offering the best of Berlin’s streetfood culture at its greasy-handed utmost.

★ Bahadur Tandoori BBQ: If you’ve ever wondered what North Indian food is supposed to taste like, this is it. Marinated in yoghurt and spices and cooked to perfection inside a real Tandoor oven, these ultra tender chicken, lamb, and paneer skewers are the epitome of Indian comfort food.
★ Bunsmobile: No big yellow truck this time around, as Berlin’s favourite burger masters take to the micro-kitchen, treating us to their holiday special: sweet and creamy lobster rolls.
★ Hello Good Pie: Our favourite Irish pie master returns with a special holiday treat.
★ Kafana Berlin: BIG flavours coming to us all the way from Serbia as Lukas serves up his mouth-watering sarma (cabbage roulades) with potato mash, and crusty bread with homemade ajvar spread.
★ Koshary Lux: Egyptian comfort food at its best, these heart-warming bowls of jumbled rice, noodles, lentils and chickpeas are given a generous lashing of lemon garlic (Daa’a) and spicy chili sauce (Shatta).

She’ll be showcasing her pakora pancake with mint & coriander chutney, mixed vegetable masala with basmati rice, and her Christmas ladoos – coconut, carrot & cranberry truffle balls topped with dark chocolate – as an extra special treat.
★Santa Maria: Berlin’s original outpost for all things deliciously Mexican will be switching things up this time around, serving up their mouth-watering twist on Malaysian laksa.
