Berlin’s First Foodball Fest This Weekend at Neue Heimat
By Andrew Cottrill . August 13, 2015
After being the Neue Heimat for streetfood and crafts, and then Weihnachtsmarkts, and Stattbad Wedding parties, Friedrichshain’s Neue Heimat is now the home of football with this weekend’s football-themed Foodball Fest.
They’ve teamed up with Tippn – a Berlin startup mobile gambling app which aims to do for gambling what Tinder did for online dating – make everyone do it.
You can expect tons of food trucks, drink and partying, plus everything to do with the beautiful game. Hey, you’ll all be watching the Munich vs. Hamburg game anyway – you may as well do it in style.
There’s also going to be a football tournament on Sunday for those not satisfied by simply watching the game whilst drinking heavily.
Here’s the weekend’s programme:
Freitag 14.08. 20:30 – 4:00 (Einlass ab 19:00)
Kickoff Party mit Live-Übertragung des Auftaktspiels (Bayern Munich vs. Hamburg), Musik, Food & Drinks.
Samstag 15.08. 15:30-21:00 (Einlass ab 13:00)
Bundesliga Tag mit Live-Übertragung der Bundesligaspiele, Musik, DJs, Food, Grill, Drinks und mehr.
Sonntag 16.08 15:30-21:00 (Einlass ab 13:00)
Action-Day mit Live-Übertragung, Disko-Fußballfeld, Fußball-Turnier, Verlosung von 2 EM-Tickets (Viertel- oder Halbfinale), Performances, Food-Trucks, Grill, Drinks uvm.
