Shameless/Limitless celebrates 5 years this Friday, December 13th

By Catherine J. Fehre . December 13, 2013

Tonight, join Shameless/Limitless at a two floor party and concert at Urban Spree to celebrate five years of their existence.

Back in 2008 Shameless/Limitless started as a weekly DJ night at Cafe Warschau on Sonnennallee. The initial run of S/L events was short lived, but sufficient fun was had to try try to take the show on the road. Ever so slowly different events came to fruition, including memorable days out partying at the former Iraqi Embassy to East Germany as well as a couple of ridiculously fun nights on that sunken ship next to the Badeschiff.

S/L moved from strictly party territory into concerts in 2010, starting with a show with Vancouver band Basketball at WestGermany.
Since 2011, there have been ever more S/L events, be they in the form of parties, low key DJ nights or concerts. 2013 alone saw 48 events, including shows at Beghain, Naherholung Sternchen, Urban Spree and beyond, with a range of touring and local acts.
Folling the 5 Year birthday of S/L on Dec 13, plans are in place for along winter siesta. For further info on S/L, please visit tumblr.

The night will include live performances by Touchy Mob + Friends, Femminielli Noir, and Jaakko Eino Kalevi. DJs Matt Dideus (Junior Boys), Molly Nilsson (Dark Skies Association), Friendboy (Cocktail D’Amore Records), Moon Wheel (Not Not Fun), and Vero Manchego will perform, as well.

Check out the Facebook event for more info. And keep looking here for more Shameless/Limitless events in the future.
