Kurt Vile and his band ‘The Violators’ have confirmed a stop-off in Berlin this December – full details and tickets here. Formerly of ‘The War on Drugs’, Vile (33) is now a fully fledged solo artist.

His fourth studio LP ‘Smoke Ring for my Halo’ was released to critical acclaim in 2011, significantly raising his profile. His fifth – this year’s ‘Wakin on Pretty Daze’ served to cement his distinctive vocal/guitar style across the globe. It’s both hypnotic and effortless with ‘The Violators’ more prominent than ever before.
