Despite being one of the city’s worst kept secrets, weekend brunch at Butter still makes a compelling argument to journey out that little bit further for your next brunch date. Combining the best of Deutsch Frühstück with a variety of sweet and savory continental favourites, Butter provides enough options to please whatever crowd you’re dining with, from civil family gatherings to desperate post-clubbing recoveries.
The combination of standards (cheese, meat, bread) with a selection of more unique salads, warm comfort dishes and international flavours makes the brunch at Butter one of the standouts of Berlin’s new wave of fusion restaurants. The most impressive part is that you can enjoy everything in the spread and still keep your budget in check – full brunch costs only €7.90. For those of you who aren’t inclined to eat until you burst, there are also set menu items for less. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, as well as full table service. The coffee is alright too!
There are no reservations, so get in early if you want a seat inside, or grab a blanket and enjoy brunch al fresco in the last few weeks the weather permits. You won’t be disappointed.
