Roger the Cabin-boy, Käpt’n Rummelsnuff’s Performing Live!

By Andrew Cottrill . October 20, 2015

This Thursday, Käpt’n Rummelsnuff and his crew are performing live at Friedrichshain’s Badehaus Szimpla. The Berghain bouncer-turned-sea-shanty singer and electropunk icon is sailing into Szimpla on a wave of 10% bock beer supplied by Berlin brewery Bierfabrik.

Bockbier

In fact, it’s the unveiling of Rummelsnuff’s own personal grog, Rummelsnuff’s Kraftbock, made in collaboration with Bierfabrik.

For those who don’t know him, Rummelsnuff’s a muscle-bound sea captain who sings maritime rhymes with just a pinch of avant-garde homoerotica (he should also recruit Master Bates and Seaman Staines to join his crew!).

This unlikely alliance between Berlin’s saltiest sea-dog and Bierfabrik means there’s a full line up both on stage AND on the bar:

For music lovers (and pirates), Philipp Sommer will start the evening off before the Captain and his first mate, Christian Asbach, take to the stage.

For craft beer lovers (and pirates), here’s Bierfabrik’s line up:

Vom Fass:
Bierfabrik Hell
Bierfabrik Dunkel

Aus der Flasche:
Bierfabrik Rotbier
Bierfabrik Pale Ale
Bierfabrik Weißbier
… und natürlich Rummelsnuffs Kraftbock!

When: 22.10. at 21:00
Where: Badehaus Szimpla, Revaler Straße 99, 10245 Berlin
What: Captain Rummelsnuff, Mate Asbach and Sailor Butz
