This Friday, Your Mom’s Agency presents Kookoo, a night filled with musicians and artists at Kreuzberg’s OHM. Mieko Suzuki and Ara will host, guiding you through the night. As the “bastard brainchild” of Mieko and Ara, Kookoo has been a monthly event at Farbfernseher since 2009. It has catered to the nocturnal, dancing bodies of Kreuzberg, combining music with art to provide a unique and intimate atmosphere.

Detroit native Buzz Goree will make his Kookoo debut. Buzz, a member of Underground Resistance and leader of the Mixworks label, has played all over the world. He started his DJ career in Detroit at just 13, but in recent years has made Berlin his second home. From classic to contemporary, Buzz will provide sounds meant to create havoc on the dance floor.

Meanwhile, Japenese video artists Ink Agop and Yukihiro Taguchi will present their video installations made specifically for this event, and some parts will be made up on the spot to fit the flow. Carly Fischer from Australia will also present her paper sculpture (seen on the flyers), which will be displayed in a special light box at Kookoo.

As a special promo, we’re giving away two tickets each to two people. All you have to do is be the first couple to like this post before anyone else and you’ll be spending Friday dancing into the night of insanity named Kookoo.
