Look out club kids and musos – there’s a new joint in town and it’s called Father Graham.
With its plethora of top techno clubs, punk palaces and rave dens, Berlin’s other, softer musical side can sometimes be forgotten about, as the aforementioned usually steal the limelight.
As of this Friday, August 18, lovers of soul, jazz, afrobeat, R&B, disco and funk have a new home in Berlin that will embrace you like a long lost friend: Worry not everyone, Father Graham is here!
Join them for their opening party
Located on Friedrichstraße 180–184 in Mitte, Father Graham appears to be pitching itself as an antidote to the beat-heavy clubs Berlin is better known for. To celebrate their opening, the folks behind this new initiative are throwing a ‘soft opening’ party featuring the musical stylings of Alxndr London and Stimulus, along with some tasty mixed drinks to help you cool down, plus some African soul food to fill your bellies.
Get there early on Friday
Will this be a venue to rise above the rest and give Berliners a genuine alternative spot to party down? There’s only way to find out. Your Father Graham hosts invite you to bring a smile and come in time, noting that the first 300 early birds will get in for free.
