One of the most prominent representatives of the Russian neoclassical music scene, Kirill Richter, comes to Volksbühne’s Roter Salon with two chamber performances, one day before his long-awaited and sold-out concert at the Elbphilharmonie.

Richter’s portfolio includes pieces for piano, works for chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras, music for art-house dramas, sci-fi blockbusters and contemporary choreography performances.

Оne of his most known pieces, for now, is probably an original theme for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia written for the FOX Sports TV channel. “Where Angels Fear to Tread” became the music synonym of this grand sporting event for hundreds of millions worldwide and brought Richter international fame.

Having released his new album this spring, after presenting it in illustrious Royal Albert Hall in London and raucous Zaryadie Hall in Moscow, Kirill is coming with his “CHRONOS” to Germany to give a performance in Berlin’s Volksbühne and Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie.

// Achingly beautiful solo piano compositions and spine-tingling orchestral pieces. LONDON IN STEREO
// Wonderful chamber music with unique rock-n-roll power attitude. NDR Kultur
// One of the principal hopefuls of the Russian music scene. ELLE
// His piano excursions veer from tranquil to experimental and reward on both counts. CLASH
