Berlin Future Shorts Film Festival this Thursday

The Berlin Film Society is back to present the German premiere of the Future Shorts Film Festival on Thursday, August 29th at Katerholzig. The Future Shorts Festival is the biggest pop up film festival of its kind, always showcasing diverse and compelling short films from around the world.

Six short films will be viewed as apart of the Berlin Film Society’s summer program. These six films have already enraptured audiences in 90 countries as apart of an international festival and have received multiple types of awards and recognitions.

Later on, Katerholzig will host the after party, so there will be no short supply of drinks and music to wrap up the night.

The Pirate of Love, directed by Sara Gunnarsdottir (Iceland – 2013)
The Hidden Smile, directed by Venture Durall (Spain – 2012)
Irish Folk Furniture, directed by Tony Donoghue (Ireland – 2012)
Volume, directed by Mahalia Belo (UK – 2012)
