Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance
Categorized as a visual ‘tone poem’, the film features slow motion, time-lapse footage of natural landscapes and cities within the United States alongside a soundtrack by Composer Phillip Glass. The visual feast contains neither dialogue nor a vocalized narration: its tone is set by the juxtaposition of images and music.
Taking the nature of the film into account, the bespoke menu has been designed using farm-to-table ingredients which have been selected to appreciate both the visual essence of the film and the emotions it evokes.
Ingredient is a Berlin based pop-up restaurant company that produces bespoke menus inspired by art, music and film. Headed up by Creative Director Ben Bonta and Head Chef Tait Miller, the duo will host a series of pop-up events in Berlin.
