Bites & Vibes is a streetfood festival in a former ice factory.

foodora and their intrepid riders have gotten us all through many hungover and world-hating Sunday afternoons. On Sunday 10th of June, 12:30-20:00 we have to return the favour. Bites & Vibes Food Market is foodora on tour – a streetfood and music event which will bring together some of Berlin’s most beloved restaurants (the ones Foodora deliver us every Sunday), some special guests foodora are bringing along with them, and live music to supply those very important ‘vibes’.

Among others, the food truck line up is pretty special:

Son Kitchen – Korean food with a helping of Berlinerisch. Their bibimbaps have been winning over festival crowds for the last few years now.
Habba Habba – P-Berg’s Habba Habba is the high-class falafel joint we’ve all been waiting for. Who knew fast food could be healthy?
Chutnify – Streetfood stalwart Chutnify have been redefining Indian food in Berlin. Namely, that it doesn’t have to taste like tomato soup.
Poké Pelelina – These Hawaiian Poké bowls combine fish with superfoods, meaning you can be hip and healthy at the same time.
Ben & Jerry’s Eistruck – …well, it’s hosted in an Eisfabrik afterall.

The music for the event will be supplied by Valentina Bellaza direct out of Paris, plus a live show from Marvin Game.

There will also be an art installation named “Die Kurst des Foodporn”, which will including an exhibition of ‘food porn’ photos created by WhiteWall with the help of Berlin’s favourite food influencers and bloggers.

This is also a great opportunity to see what’s become of the old Eisfabrik. Anyone who’s been here a few years can remember climbing into this building through a broken window and meeting the squatting communities that used to call this old abandoned factory home. They’ll also remember the impressive graffiti over the enormous industrial revolution-era machinery and that overpowering smell of human excrement. Hopefully progress has been made in at least that last department.

The event starts at 12Uhr, Sunday 10th June and entrance is free.
